Community Action & Support – East Staffs exists to promote and encourage the development of voluntary action within the community for the benefit of the community.
It does this by:
Identifying needs
Developing initiatives
Promoting partnerships between the statutory and voluntary sectors
Encouraging good practices and equality of opportunity, representing
the views of the voluntary sector and seeking to influence local and
national policies
Obtaining disseminating information
Assisting in the provision of necessary services to local voluntary groups
