What information does it contain?
Our Directory of Voluntary and Community Services provides information on voluntary and community groups, where and when they meet and how to contact them:-
Places of Worship, times and community facilities available.
Village halls and community centres, groups that meet within them and contact details for hiring meeting rooms.
Schools, community groups that meet on school premises and hiring details.
Statutory agencies, community services available and voluntary activity provided through statutory agencies.
Resources – a list of useful contacts, directories and other information relevant to running a voluntary group.
When was it last updated?
During the summer of 2002 all information contained within the directory was verified and the latest revised edition prepared. Regular updates are provided to all recipients of the directory. The latest update was issued in October 2004.
How can I access the information?
Copies of the directory are available from CASES in paper format or on CD ROM. To order your copy contact us.
How can my organisation be included in the directory?
Any voluntary or community group can have an entry in the directory free of charge. Statutory agencies that provide community services or run community groups which can be accessed by individuals can also advertise your group by sponsoring a full page advertisement which can include your logo. Contact us for a directory entry form.
How can I include my organisation’s voluntary opportunities?
CASES Volunteer Bureau has a database of voluntary opportunities which are made available on the web
