Community Action & Support – East Staffordshire (CASES) is the Council for Voluntary Service covering the East Staffordshire district. We are a registered charity (no 504189) and have been in existence for nearly thirty years. Our main purpose is to support, promote and develop voluntary action in the community. We are funded from a mixture of sources, including grant and from statutory bodies and project funding and Trust Funds.
We are a membership organization.
A Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) is and independent local voluntary organization with a voluntary management committee made up of representatives from local voluntary organizations. It employs paid staff and volunteers. It is part of national network of over 230 CVS.
CASES has adopted a Declaration of Intent on Racism and is committed to promoting equal opportunities for all. We are affiliated to the National Association of Councils for Voluntary Service and the National Council for Voluntary Organisations.
